Morning Room Mural, Hawkhurst, Kent

Brief:- Part of a complete renovation and refurbishment of Edwardian School house. Full modernisation and decoration to create a reception space for hosting social events.

Design services:- Full concept and commissioning of bespoke hand painted mural. Final finishes and materials, lighting and specification of bespoke furnishings.

With inspiration from colonial verandas and 1930’s cocktail lounges – think Raffles Hotel meets Claridge’s Deco suite – this room has a very special feel to it. The commission of a bespoke beautifully hand painted sepia toned mural of tropical foliage which sits perfectly with the arched windows, is what makes the room sing. Add crystal chandeliers, an array of funky patterned chairs, and shiny black piano and you are away. Gin and Tonic anyone?
